Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says Iran and
Vietnam are determined to enhance the level of their bilateral cooperation in
all areas.
He made the remarks at a joint press conference with
Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang in Hanoi on Friday.
Ahmadinejad said that there is no limitation for the
expansion of economic, industrial, cultural, scientific, and technological
relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Vietnam, and added, “Iran is
determined to make use of the huge potential of the two countries to develop
each other’s economies.”
Earlier in the day, the two presidents held a meeting
on regional and international issues and ways to expand bilateral cooperation,
particularly in the areas of education, science and technology, agriculture,
and tourism.
Ahmadinejad arrived in Vietnam on Friday for a
two-day official visit after attending the Fifth Bali Democracy Forum in
